Stompa

I got some fabulous news yesterday that has started me off in a new direction.  Needless to say I’m dancing all over the house with excitement!  If you know me, you know how much I love music and how I relate my life story to certain songs.  This song expresses my joy for the upcoming changes.  It seems that I had temporarily forgotten to clap my hands and stomp my feet.  The lyrics have reminded me to listen to my heart and good things shall come.  (I apologize for the ad at the beginning of the video)

People, working every night and day
Never give yourself no time
Got too many bills to pay
Slow down, nothings gonna disappear
If you give yourself some room
To move to the music you hear

Gotta get up, listen to me
Clappa your hands, stompa your feet

People, looking for the great escape
Looking to the greener side
Trying to find a better way
Slow down; open up your big brown eyes
Feel the rhythm in your heart
You dont even need to try

Gotta get up, listen to me
Clappa your hands, stompa your feet
Nothing is wrong, if you move to the beat
Clappa your hands
Stompa your feet
Stompa your feet

When you cant seem to shake off all the feelings that are breaking
Little pieces of the music thats in you
All the pain that you feel
I can prove its not real
Theres just one thing you gotta do

Gotta get up, listen to me
Clappa your hands, stompa your feet
Nothing is wrong, if you move to the beat
Clappa your hands
Stompa your feet
Stompa your feet

Stompa your feet, stompa your feet

While your life might be spent running 100 mph and things might get you down, you have to remember to listen to the music of your inner self.  Listen to what the beating of your heart says.  You alone write the lyrics of your life… so they might as well make you want to “stompa your feet” with happiness.

Do you have a “happy song”?  One that makes you want to “stompa your feet”?

Much love,

Steffanie
